- Comin to the end of 15 years of compulsory education and i am so very relieved. One whole year of freedom and one i recommend everyone to take. I lived for the first 11 years of my life in Bulawayo-Zimbabwe. Came to England 6 days from my 12th birthday. I am slightly vain, but aspiringly spiritual. I believe with all my being in God and Jesus Christ his son (complicated concept i know). My whole family is Christian and considering where my grandparents and parents came from, it is to me obvious that God has made us what we are. In this year, i will be seaching out my next big step in life towards 'the mark of the prize of the high calling of God through Jesus our Lord'.

Hey, just stumbled across your blog. I see you've just started and I have the privelege of being the inaugural post.
I feel that Africa needs us. Poverty in the 21st Century, children dying every fifth of a second and a world community that is willing to watch tyrants lke Mugabe starve his people to death, is not how things should be. It's so easy to get caught up in the material world, but life's about giving and sharing. At least, that's what I feel.
I've just read your profile and realised you come from Zimbabwe. What Mugabe is doing is wrong. If they'tr willing to catch Saddam, why not old Robert? It doesn't make sense to me.
I don't know too much about the political details of my country Hank. Sometimes i hear all sorts of rumours and opinions from my fellow country-men, and i came to the conclusion that....(believe it or not) Mugabe is not all bad; he has reasonable goals, but corrupt methods (after all he is a BuSh-maN who got presidency on the battlefield!). Most of what he knows is bloodshed to get his way. Which brings me to the conclusion that it IS time 4 him to step down, coz that aint necessary for Zim today. Care to suggest a successor anyone?
I feel bored today. Feel disillusioned- tired. Need a man. (Don't know anythin about politics sorry)
Cancel the damn third world debt!! destroy the political systems and governments and re-buil them this time with GOOD people.
scrap all the Laws of every land and re-write them to actually work for the innocent instead of protecting the guilty.
heal the world and make it a better place! MJ had the right idea and to a certain extent so does mr. geldoff i don't understand how a free concert will help Africa though, but anyways...
everyone should play a part in helping fellow human beings-STOP being ignorant and apathetic

It is so easy to suggest ways but we need to act first before we speak (even though speaking is an action). So when our actions are pure and positive, hopefully others will copy. But we should act not to be congratulated but because simply it is the right thing to do
Instead of speaking so much (with suggestions) we should act. Even though all acts should involve pre thought, there is not enough action. Hopefully with our actions, others will be encouraged to do the same. But you also have to remember you are not doing it for yourself, for but because it is simply the right thing to do.

dear hank i think u shuld'nt talk abt Mugabe as if u know him n it wont make sense 2 u that they r not willing 2 catch mugabe becoz wat Saddam did is totally different from wat Mugabe is doing
like wat Rufaro said his methodology is waY out of line howeva his theories r vey gd which i support, coz if u knew the history of Zimbabwe, hank then u would c were he is coming from but now the problem is u dont know it!
go read the history of Zim then u can start passing comments abt the our sekuru,
